Janelle Cross, Ph.D.

Director

Dr. Cross is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Director of Sports Medicine Research. She specializes in sports biomechanics, encompassing research on baseball, running, basketball, sports rehabilitation, and performance optimization. She served as a Biomechanics Consultant for the Milwaukee Brewers from 2013 to 2021, coordinating annual pitching motion capture data collection and analysis. Dr. Cross holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa, her MS in Movement Science from Barry University, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University.
