Adam is a PhD candidate at the University of Southern California, working in the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Lab (MBRL), and Clinical Biomechanics Orthopedic and Sports Outcomes Research Lab (COOR). As a strength and conditioning coach and researcher, he is interested in joint and segmental contributions to complex, multi-planar tasks. His research aims to describe the influence of lower extremity muscle performance on kinematics and kinetics during the baseball pitch, with particular emphasis on their contribution to upper extremity demand and pitching performance. In doing so, his research will provide the foundation for translational strategies to minimize potentially injurious upper extremity torques while maximizing pitching performance.
