Dr. Robert Shapiro is a man of many talents. Not only was he an early baseball biomechanist, he also was a founding member of the American Society of Biomechanics and the International National Society of Biomechanics. After working in baseball, Dr. Shapiro founded and directed the multidisciplinary Biodynamics Laboratory at The University of Kentucky, where he was an Advisor to Megan Stewart and Ethan Stewart while they were completing their Master’s degree in Biomechanics.
